HYTAC Elective ETHZ

Location: ETH Zürich, Switzerland
Schedule: fall or spring semester, 2 weekly lessons
Number of students: 25 per semester
Department: Professor Andrea Deplazes

This elective course for 25 students is part of a master's program at ETH Zurich that focuses on the use of photogrammetry for architectural planning. The hands-on exercise begins with a field trip where students learn to create a 3D model of a city from images taken by a drone and processed with special software. This model is then 3D printed and used as the basis for the students' project proposals.
